Hey man, I'd say wait a bit & go for the D5000, gives a lot more for not much more cash. Going with Canon or Nikon is pretty much the same either way, both make great cam's.

hey sorry for the late reply ..nah mine never broke atall its a good frame, i got rid of it coz i did some racing in Scotland and it was absolutely rubbish at the steep DH (which is all/most of Scotland) the wheel base is stupidly short for a DH bike. and quite high up as well not too good for stand over.. unless Ur at least 6ft
